Exploring the richness of the Psalms
The psalms give us a chance to see what a relationship with God looks like from the inside of a real person. We can see the highs and lows, victories and frustrations, revelation and wisdom along with questions. There are a number of ways you can discover more about the psalms: reading them all through, using a study, picking them up as part of a daily readling plan, or using the daily lectionary. Below is a tabulation of the cycle of psalms set for morning and evening in the daily lectionary. Often they are grouped in themes. You may like to print it out and use it over the next 49 days - just cross them off as you go through each day. I invite you to come back with a comment about your experience.
